And lastly, they focus on creating a culture of accountability—not by micromanaging but by empowering their team to take ownership of their work and results. It’s this mix of empathy, directness, and vision that helps a leader build a team that’s engaged, resilient, and ready to take on challenges together.” - Heather

“When handling disagreements in a team, I focus on finding out the facts. Yes, it's important to make space for emotions, but I don’t allow those emotions to dictate the outcome, as emotions are illogical and rarely show the truth or the facts.” - Heather

“I encourage the team to move from blame to solutions. Instead of dwelling on what went wrong, we ask, 'What do we want to achieve, and how can we get there?' It’s a small shift, but it makes a big difference in turning disagreements into productive conversations.
